20 Awesome Thank You Gifts for Your Employees This Holiday Season

The holiday season is quickly approaching and gift-giving is well on its way. Do you know how you will thank your employees this year?

Some companies have big parties in the office or go to a fancy restaurant for a special celebratory dinner, but a lot of companies give their staff holiday gifts. For all you gift-giving employers out there, here’s a nice little run down of great promotional products that will make wonderful thank you gifts for employees and promote your brand as well.

Customizable Treats

The holidays are a great time to give your hard-working employees edible goodies. QLP has a wonderful assortment of tins, jars, mugs, and boxes that can be imprinted with your company’s logo and come pre-filled with yummy treats. Some of my favorites are the Gift Box with Truffles, the Bounty Tin filled with cookies, the Homage Gift Basket, the Whitaker Bountiful Bags, and the Spirit Champagne Bottle all filled with your choice of snack.

Custom Clothing

Your employees will love to sport their company’s logo proudly while wearing a custom t-shirt, jacket or hat you give them this year. Some great gender-neutral clothing ideas are the Port Authority 3-in-1 Jacket, the Port Authority R-Tek Fleece Vest, hooded sweatshirts, polo shirts, and the Front Runner Cap. These items, and many others, come in great colors to suit any company’s needs.

Customizable Office Essentials

If you’re looking to give your employees something they could use every day for work, QLP has the perfect assortment of thank you gifts for you. The Deluxe Executive Vintage Leather Padfolio is perfect for the person who loves to stay organized and have everything at their fingertips. It comes in a neutral black or brown, has lots of great pocket space on the inside cover and looks very expensive. Any employee would be ecstatic to receive one of these as a gift. Another great office item gift would be the Frame/Clock/Desk Organizer. The all-in-one design is perfect to eliminate desk clutter and looks very sophisticated. Or, for personalized holiday gifts that really make an impact, go with custom ornaments, the Trio Digital Photo Frame, or a Create-a-Globe!

Gift Sets

If you’d rather cater to specific employee interests, then gift sets may be the best way to go. A few popular company gift set ideas are the Deluxe Mug Gift Set, the Martini Set, and the Deluxe Golfer Gift Box. Don’t forget about your wine-loving, Midwest-dwelling friends, either! They may like the Milano Wine Set or the Nice and Cozy Fleece Gift Set, which can both be personalized for classy thank you gifts your personnel are sure to love.

Giving your employees a custom holiday gift is a great way to thank them for a job well done this year, and as an added bonus you could promote your business in the process. Your staff will appreciate your generosity and continue to give you great service as a result. Keeping your staff happy will keep your customers happy, and that’s the key to doing good business.

Which holiday gifts have you given to your employees in the past? Do you have any favorite thank you gifts from a current or past employer?

I love when I get free clothes!! I think its a great idea because you are walking advertising every time you wear it. A nice jacket would be super nice to get during the winter and its gender neutral. Great ideas Jen!!

These are some great gift ideas, Jen! I’d be happy to receive any of them, especially that martini set. Now, that’d make for a holly, jolly Christmas in my book ;)

  3. Mandy Kilinskis

These are all really great holiday gifts! Personally, I would love to get some company-branded apparel! A QLP hoodie would be nice and comfy!

  4. Rachel

Lots of awesome ideas here, Jen! I agree with Ellyn that I like getting free clothes the most, because it’s something I can legitimately use AND the company gets lots of brand impressions out of it. And I love all the customizable treats options, too–yay free candy! :)

  5. Jill Tooley

Who doesn’t love candy and nuts? Or candy-covered nuts, for that matter. I’m getting hungry just looking at those snack mixes!

I love the span of gifts you’ve picked out. :) I have to agree with what a few others have already said — clothing is the best gift to receive from an employer (other than cold, hard cash). Someday I’ll have a sweet QLP hoodie to call my own!

At a previous job, they gave out promo items as gifts all the time (and I know your former employer did as well). It was cool to receive gifts for meeting goals and whenever a holiday or special occasion would roll around! My favorite corporate gift is probably a tie between a personalized Thermos and an insulated lunch bag. I still use them, so the brand name has stuck with me even today! :)

Anything you can legitimately use on a day-to-day basis is always a surefire winner. Fleece jackets are great to throw on around the house, or even at the office when it’s a little chilly inside. That’d be my #1 pick. Good stuff, Jen!

Thanks, I have to agree with all of you! I love to get company apparel too. Ellyn you hit the nail on the head, we are walking advertisements when we wear a company’s logo.

A QLP hoodie would be the ultimate holiday gift!!

And Amy if one of us gets that sweet martini set someday as a gift, we’ll put it to good use for sure. ;)
