ADVERTISING ALERT: Leave Your Company’s Promotional Pens at the Post Office!
Why is it that every post office I’ve ever visited seriously lacks writing utensils for its customers? Usually, there’s one pen on the table (if you’re lucky) and most of the time it’s out of ink or someone else is using it. ARGH! After my latest visit to the local post office and having the exact same experience for the umpteenth time, I’ve decided to alert everyone to this fabulous advertising opportunity.
As you may know, purchasing promotional pens doesn’t do you a whole lot of good if you have no place to distribute them! So, since post offices seem to be opposed to putting out pens for customers to use, why not take a substantial amount of your company pens and leave them there? You’ll be ensuring that your logo and company information gets seen, and you’ll be helping post office customers at the same time! (NOTE: Before taking your promotional pens to the post office and plopping them on the counters, be sure to ask an employee if that’s okay…you wouldn’t want to step on anyone’s toes! But, judging from their lack of pens, your gifts will probably be very welcome!)
Post offices seem like the most natural drop-off point for your logo pens, but get creative and think of other places that may be able to use them! Try local grocery stores, gas stations, or even restaurants. You never know where your promotional items will be needed.
