Fundraising Promo Items for Any Cause or Occasion

“If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything”- Peter Marshall (1947).

Everyone has a cause or belief that they support, whether it’s supported individually, as a group, or even as a corporation. Donating and fundraising are avenues of support with a high success rate. Fundraising can be in the form of a bake sale for a class trip, a lemonade stand for a new toy, or a silent auction for cancer awareness. It is an age-old way to bring recognition and support to the cause! If you need to raise funds for charity or for a special event, then you can use promotional products to help you do that. Reselling promo items is an easy way to amp up fundraising efforts for your favorite cause, organization, or occasion.

For example, try personalizing one of these 4 inexpensive products for a better return on your investment:

Eros Chocolate Bars

Eros Chocolate BarWho doesn’t love chocolate? This delicious milk chocolate bar can be printed with your name (or your company/organization’s name) for a professional look. Appeal to everyone’s sweet tooth with this yummy, yet effective, promotional item. Sell them individually or include one as part of a gift bag/basket. Hunger is a powerful thing, especially when it comes to tempting sweets and goodies. Go ahead and appeal to their cravings…it could mean more money for your cause or event!

Awareness Ribbon Magnetic Memo Holder Clips

Awareness Ribbon Magnetic Memo Holder ClipAny office worker knows how important it is to have paper clips, tacks, and memo holder clips on hand. With the ever-flowing abundance of paperwork being shuffled through the office, from new procedures, things to remember, and daily office reminders, it’s vital to have a way to display all these things in your office or cubicle. With this magnet clip, you get a two for one! You can keep track of all your important company messages while displaying the most important message of all for the organization of your choice. Any co-worker or passerby can revel in not only your organization and cleanliness, but also your dedication to a worthy cause.

8″ Megaphones

8" MegaphoneWhether you’re cheering for your company at a team meeting or rooting for your favorite player at a sports event, this is the perfect product for anyone who loves to show their spirit! Print your company logo on one side and the cause you’re supporting on the other. It’s a great way to show your support loud enough for anyone to hear. This product can also double as a snack holder just in case your spirited bunch gets hungry!

Stress Balls

Mood Smiley Face Stress BallsWe may mention stress relievers quite a bit at QLP, but that’s only because we believe in them as promo items! When you need an appealing fundraising item that doesn’t cost a whole lot, then there are few items as effective as stress balls. There are so many shapes, sizes, colors, and textures available — you’ll find a perfect match no matter what cause you’re trying to support. People really go nuts for these squeezable products, trust me (not even Holly Flax from NBC’s The Office could resist them)! Mark up the price by a buck or two and you’ll probably raise a pretty penny, even if you only order the minimum number of stress balls.

This is just a small sample of the many customizable items that we have to offer to aid your charity or fundraising efforts. Make sure to check out our entire selection to find the product just right for you and your cause (and don’t be afraid to ask us for help). Nothing promotes unity like raising money, whether you are trying to get new uniforms for your child’s sport team, raise money for new office supplies, or bring awareness to lung cancer! So get out there and raise some funds already. We’ll help you do it.

What’s the best fundraising promotional product you’ve ever used? Which item would you be most likely to spend money on for charity?

These are all really great suggestions, Candice!

I would add Acrylic Tumblers to the mix. Not only are they fun and colorful (for optimum customization), but they’ll be used on a daily basis!

Not going to lie, I LOVE those! They are so convenient and the lid and straw feature makes it safe to have at work without any accidental spills! It would def. get a lot of use.

  2. Rachel

Great ideas, Candice! I think the chocolate bar is my favorite. Good idea to include it as part of a gift basket, especially one being auctioned off for charity. Thanks for all these suggestions! :)

    • Candice J.

I know I’ve seen chocolate in almost every gift basket/bag of food I’ve won or raffled for. Besides who doesn’t love chocolate!

  3. amy

Great suggestions, Candice! I had never thought of the megaphones before :)

    • Candice J.

Me either, but once i saw that it doubled as a snack holder! it was an automatic 2 for 1! Nothing better than that!

  4. Jen

I love stress balls as promotions! They are just so cute, and like you said we have hundreds to choose from here at QLP. The mood changing balls are one of my favorites!

I also like the idea of chocolate bars as a fundraiser. People are always willing to buy some candy for a good cause.

    Great suggestions Candice!

Stress balls are great! I didn’t even know you could make mood changing ones, but i guess in this day and age you can make mood change anything. Plus they can be fun, funny, or sentimental! We seem to offer a stress ball for every subject, mood, and cause so its a win-win for everyone.

Anyone who gives me chocolate automatically has a better chance of me remembering them. This is just a rule for life, not just promo products. Just sayin….

    • Candice J.

Haha, I have a feeling anyone who gives you any type of good food or candy automatically has a better chance of being remembered. I’ll remember that when I need something. Put Jeff in a sugar & food induced coma and then ask. You’ll be sure to remember me when you come out of it!

  6. Eric

    Chocolate.

Always a surefire winner. Shelley and I were out to eat the other day and they’d someone selling the World’s Finest bars for a fundraiser. BAM! Two sold right there.

Gonna second Mandy’s idea, and say those plastic tumblers come in handy more often than you think nowadays. I like them because they’re easy to drink out of while driving a car, and you don’t risk spilling it all over yourself…like you would with a Nalgene-style water bottle.

    • Candice J.

I third, fourth, and fifth her idea as well. I love when we were gifted a personalized one for Christmas here at QLP by the wonderful sales woman Kelly Bird. I use it EVERYDAY, seriously EVERYDAY. Now no matter what i’m doing or who i’m with (meaning my daughter), I can always have a refreshing drink without having to worry about the infamous spills and stains that can be caused by the wrong movement.

And apparently sell your fundraising chocolate to Jeff, you might end up a millionaire! Everyone’s happy!

  7. Cybernetic SAM

Man I remember I had to sell candy bars for a fundraiser and I wound up paying for like $60 worth of Caramel Chocolate Bars because I couldn’t resist! These are great ideas though! EVERYONE LOVES S.W.A.G.!
