We all love “warm and fuzzy” stories (even if some of us won’t admit it). And what makes a story warmer or fuzzier than an adorable cat? Not much, my friend!
Quality Logo Products received an unconventional email about a stress ball this past Friday; although it’s far from the strangest email we’ve seen, it’s certainly among the best. Read it and see what you think:
Hello, this will definitely be the oddest email you have ever gotten but I will take a chance anyway. My cat’s favorite toy is the earth stress reliever you guys sell (item number Q13914). When he was a kitten I found one at my local fair. He loved that ball until it fell apart 3 years later.
I was very lucky to find another one at the American Library Association conference a couple years later, so I picked one up for him. I thought he wouldn’t remember the ball he loved in his early years of life but I was wrong. As soon as I showed it to him he started playing with it. We played fetch for a nearly an hour! However that was three years ago and his current ball is starting to fall apart. I have been attending local conferences of every type from pet shows to boat shows and I haven’t been able to find another one.
So I am asking you if I could somehow purchase a smaller amount of the earth ball you sell. I am willing to pay for the item but I don’t want to buy 100 balls, he is only one cat. So I was wondering if I could somehow purchase 10 or so balls to make my cat happy for the rest of his life. I have enclosed some pictures of my cat and his current ball for you all to enjoy and laugh at.
The email came complete with priceless photos of the cat in question: Jack. Isn’t he precious? He truly has the whole world in his paws!
- Jack and his favorite toy
- Jack during playtime
- Jack’s battered earth ball
Needless to say, Jack and his owner will be receiving some Earth Stress Relievers – hopefully they provide many more memorable playtimes! All of us at Quality Logo Products would like to thank Jack’s owner for taking the time to write to us AND for allowing us to share the story on our blog. We can’t wait to see pictures of him with his new toys!
Does Jack the cat make you smile? Do you love a good stress ball story? Share the love in comment form! We’d love to hear from you.

Jack is the MAN!
The only thing better than the world’s cutest cat is ANY dog!
I’m not just saying this because I prefer cats, but…I’ve seen some pretty ugly dogs in my day. So I call shenanigans on this statement!
All kidding aside, this story made me so happy! Cats won’t play with any old toy, so you know that the Earth Stress Reliever must be extra special to him!
hey now, there is enough room in this world for equal love!
Bret, I know for a fact that you love cats—in particular, the ones that friggin’ SING!
FACT – Jingle Cats is the greatest CD ever made.
…. How come when people reply to my comments I don’t get an email letting me know so I can respond?
Wow; check out my photo – I’m BIG AND YELLOW!
I think this is my favorite post so far! it is so sweet, I am on cute overload right now! It is amazing how cat humor has the world in its paws. I am convinced they know what they are doing, and they are going to really take over the world someday. This little guy found it irresistible to destroy a model of Earth as a message to us all! Haha look at his face! If this pic was on that “I Can Haz Cheezburger” site, it would probably have a caption like “I can haz da world, yu can’t!”
This cat reminds me of another one I know.
teehee! aw mah vincey! maybe they are bros. <3
Wow, he really did a number on that stress ball! And look at him go to town in that second pic. It makes sense though–just look at how angry he looks in the first pic.
I think this calls for an equally heart-wrenching story about some dogs!
Jack must have a lot of stress.
I’m not a big cat person, but this post, and this cat, are awesome!
Nice post! I love stuff like this!
Side note: You know what’s better than the cutest cat in the world? ANY DOG =)
(You can blame Tosh.0 for that one-liner)
Gotta say I’m a dog person, but this post is definitely awesome regardless. It looks like Jack has enough stress balls to last him well through all of his nine lives.
Love this post, melted when I saw the pics, and thanks to the owner for taking the time to write in to us!! Which leads me to another thought: every year I get my cats a stocking full of cat toys (I know, call me a dork, but you dog lovers do the same for your pets, I’m sure). But, now I’m thinking, maybe just a couple of random stress balls for Christmas next year? Sounds like a plan to me!!
My kitties love stress balls, too! One kitty in particular loves to sink her teeth into them. Jack is SO cute I just know he’d get along with my crew!
P.S. I love Jingle Cats!
You know who else loves Jingle Cats? Joseph Giorgi, that’s who!
