I love this color so much and during the summer months I think 90% of the shirts I wear is this color. It gives everyone a warm “glow” and since I don’t tan very well, I don’t look quite so pasty wearing it compared to other colors hahaha. Way to go Pantone for choosing this color, and choosing such a fun name to accompany it :)

Great post, Jill!

Thanks, Amy! I’d wear this color pretty much any time of year…I could see it for spring, summer, and fall. Can’t wait to go out and get something in Tangerine Tango now! ;)

I’m not a big fan of the color orange, but I do like this particular shade! And I do like how nice it looks on all of those different products! It looks super spiffy on any color that isn’t too warm.

Maybe I’ll have to pick up a shirt that color this spring. :)

Me, too! I agree, super warm colors would probably make it lose its impact. Let me know if you find any clothing/accessories this color…I need some for my own! :)

If only this had come out earlier, me and Joe could have gotten Tangerine Tango QLP shirts for our product videos!

With such a magnetic color, the video would surely go viral in a week! Then maybe we’d get our own TV show! That would have been SO COOL.

Haha, DREAM BIG! Love it.

I could see you in this color, but definitely not Joe. If it ain’t neutral, then it ain’t Giorgi’s style! ;)

And here I was thinking that Pearl Harbor Gray would be color of the year in 2012. Boy was I wrong!

In all honesty though, Tangerine Tango calls some definite attention to itself, and that’s nothing but a good thing when it comes to making an impression on customers and clients.

Nice post, Jill.

We should create a hue just for you, Joe! It could be called Giorgi Granite. ;)

Seriously, this color is probably my favorite ever. So it looks like 2012 is going to be a good year…haha!

Bahahahaha, Giorgi Granite! I love this!! Quick, call up Pantone to enter this as a contender for the 2013 color ;)

Such a pretty color! I especially like how it looks with that purple stress ball … it probably helps that purple and yellow are complementary colors, and that orange is pretty close to yellow. :)

Also, I had no idea Pantone even named a color of the year. So cool! Thanks for the info, Jill!

Thanks, Rachel! I like it on the purple as well. :)

I didn’t know they did until last year — it’s kind of cool. I wonder if it has any bearing in the fashion industry, or if this is limited just to the design world?

This color is super sweet! This is a seriously beautiful color and I could see why it would look nice on anybody. I think my swimsuit this year will be Tangerine Tango! I will be so cool.
