Want to See Some Outstanding Branding on Twitter? Check Out Bryant Park Hotel of New York

I have been representing Quality Logo Products on Twitter since May 2009, and I always have a blast. Thousands of people say this, but I LOVE talking to new people on Twitter, most of whom I would never get the chance to meet otherwise. I thoroughly enjoy helping people with promotional products or with anything else I possibly can, and I notice Twitter profiles that stand out more so than the rest.

Why am I telling you this? Because I’d like to talk about one Twitter account that particularly impresses me, and it doesn’t belong to a statuesque celebrity or a brand that’s a household name. It belongs to Bryant Park Hotel of Manhattan, New York (@bryantparkhotel).

Bryant Park Hotel is special because they communicate with their guests/followers, unlike other hotel accounts I’ve come across (and other business accounts in general, for that matter). In fact, their feed is FULL of quick @replies and friendly tweets. Yes, I know that’s what you’re supposed to do on Twitter, but I’m consistently surprised by the amount of people who don’t – especially company accounts. My point? Bryant Park Hotel chooses to represent themselves on Twitter as a hotel that’s all about customer service, and it seems to be working wonderfully for them. Followers are always tweeting to thank them for the excellent service they experienced during their stays, and the designated-tweeter for the hotel replies right back and says thank you. Right now, they’re even offering a 2 night suite stay as incentive to reach their 5,000-follower goal; with their attitude and service, I’m sure that won’t take them long! I know one thing for sure: if I ever visit New York, I’m definitely going to seek out Bryant Park Hotel, and it’s because of their solid performance on Twitter!

I think it’s amazing that Twitter has become so influential with branding and marketing. If I didn’t participate on Twitter, then I would have never heard of Bryant Park Hotel and their awesome service, and then where would I stay if I went to New York? ;) More businesses should follow Bryant Park Hotel’s lead and be a resource to customers instead of simply spamming their feeds with sales pitches! The rewards could be astronomical, and you’ll be helping people, which is one of the things that Twitter is supposed to accomplish.

I have been a guest at bryant park hotel and was extremely impressed with their commitment to providing their patrons with a unique and memorable lodging experience. The hotel is very sheik and sexy, the rooms well appointed in very feng shui yet spacious and comfortable. Adding to that their exemplary customer service bryant park is a 10/10.

Thank you for your comment, Howard! I’ve heard so many good things about the awesome service, and the pictures on their website made my jaw drop. It’s not often that you find an establishment that’s not only beautiful but also well-run, and I’m incredibly impressed by Bryant Park Hotel! Good to know that their service skills aren’t utilized only on their Twitter account. :)
