Great post Mandy!!! Love the Uncle Ben line, personally I would have went w/Ben Grimm The Thing and instead of “It’s Clobberin’ Time!!!!” “It’s Promotional Time!!!!”

Thanks, Vern! That’s actually a fantastic tagline and I really wish that I had thought of it. Maybe we can work it into a QLP video one of these days…

Nice list, Mandy! There’s some seriously memorable stuff here. I had no idea we had anything like the X Ball on our site. What an interesting desktop product — and such an ideal fit for an “X-Men” reference!

I actually DID have a Wolverine Pen at one point. It even had the QLP logo on it! How cool is that?! Unfortunately, I accidentally broke the clip off, which is a shame, since it was my go-to pen for a long time. Now I miss it. :’(

All I did was search “X” on our site and that gem of a product came up. I would love to display something like that on my desk…even if I would play with it way too much…

I’m really bummed about your lack of a Wolverine Pen. That a serious tragedy. I hope that it brought you lots of happy memories before biting it. :(

It certainly did. I look back fondly on the notes I used to take with it. :)

Nice job! Now that we have those two blogs, I can’t help but wonder — Justice League or Avengers?

My vote is for the Justice League…who’s with me?

Mandy Kilinskis

I like a lot of the Avengers heroes better than the JL ones, but the Justice League has way better heroines. I think I’d have to pick Justice League with you.

Excellent follow-up! :)

Iron Man is my favorite Marvel character, so I’m partial to the keychain you picked out. Nice choice! I can’t wait to see Robert Downey, Jr. reprise his role in the Avengers movie…it’s exciting that all of those actors are willing to come together for the film. Let’s hope it doesn’t bomb at the box office like recent superhero flicks seemed to!

I think the flaming droplet stress ball and the Zippo lighter would also be good choices for the Human Torch – what do you think?

Considering how well Thor AND Captain America did/is doing in theaters this summer, AND considering that Joss Whedon is directing, I have every confidence that the Avengers movie is going to be phenomenal. Just the short trailer at the end of Captain America was enough to make me flail in delight. MAY 2012 IS TOO FAR AWAY.

Oooo, I definitely like both of those products. The stress ball looks like him in flight and the lighter would definitely make you feel like you could create fire like Johnny Storm. :)

Joss Whedon is the man! It’s going to be a long wait, that’s for sure. And with the Dark Knight Rises slated for July 2012, I have a feeling it’s going to be a summer to remember! :D

I agree, Jill; best summer ever! My birthday is also in May, so I always feel like these summer movies are special presents just for me :)

And the Amazing Spider-man!!! (And Star Trek, hopefully, but their production keeps getting pushed back :/ )

Oh, I totally forgot about that one! Am I the only one who’s excited to see Andrew Garfield in the lead role? While part of me is a bit irritated that they’re rebooting the series already, I LOVE him and I think he’s going to be all sorts of awesome as Peter/Spidey. Plus, Denis Leary and Emma Stone couldn’t hurt, either! :)

I’m anxious for Star Trek, too! I didn’t think I’d enjoy the most recent movie but I ended up adoring it.

I’m so proud of your level of nerdiness. I also love the “Swinging” pun. That is all.

Great post Mandy! The products you found are awesome and you did a great job compiling this list. It’s very extensive, I can’t think of anything you left out!!

I would’ve liked to include a product for a Marvel heroine, but the most popular is probably the Invisible Girl…and that’s no good for brand impressions.

True. Very true.

I think my favorites here are the smoosh stress ball (HULK SMOOSH!) and that amazing X ball. That thing would probably keep me occupied for hours at a time. I love your superhero-theme promo product posts, Mandy! Thanks for keeping us nerds up to speed on all the geeky promo stuff out there :)

I love that smoosh ball. I hope that people take advantage of the closeout price and buy mass quantities of the sweet green color!

And I’m pretty sure that I’m going to get you an X ball for Christmas. :)

Awesome post, Mandy. I gotta agree with Joe here, that X Ball looks pretty sweet.

Doesn’t it? I would play with that thing all the time…

I know nothing about comics but……The Stretch N’ Bounce Smoosh Ball looks so awesome! I’m glad it made its way into our blog. =)
