How many years of sales experience do you have?
9 years total. I’ve worked in a bunch of different industries but this is the first time with promotional products.
What do you like best about working in this industry?
The people are all great — both the customers and my co-workers. I also really like seeing all the products that people are buying. I see them and I’m like, “Man, that’d be really cool to give out for my [insert example here]”.
Do you have a favorite promotional item? If so, what is it?
Customized tote bags because everyone wants one and they’re easy to order.
What would you suggest if a customer called up looking for a really nice but still affordable promotional item for a job fair and were expecting 500-700 people, which product would you recommend?
I’d recommend tote bags filled with other promotional items like pens and notepads. Nobody turns down a free tote bag. And with the go-green movement people can use them for a lot of different things.
And if they had a really strict budget for giveaways, what would you recommend?
Then I’d recommend promotional water bottles because they’re affordable and everyone wants one. They’re also quick and to the point when it comes to showing off your logo. Pens are great, too, but with some you have to order at least 1,000 pieces. So water bottles make more sense.
What’s been your favorite part about joining the Quality Logo Products team?
Everybody here is so funny! It makes the day fly by working with comedians. The owners are both great, too.
How do you spend your time when you’re out of the office?
With my 6-month-old son and family. It used to be with my motorcycle but not so much anymore; it’s all about the family now.
