Summer is almost officially over. The kids have gone back to school, it’s getting darker earlier, and the weather is cooling off – but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing to celebrate! September brings brightly colored leaves, pumpkin flavored coffee and hot chocolate, and…pirates? Yes. “Talk Like a Pirate Day” takes place this month!
There’s still time to give your grill one last “hurrah!” with Labor Day falling on the 5 – hopefully your guests won’t also be celebrating “Be Late for Something Day,” and they will show up to your party on time! Your company can show its support for our country, troops, and firemen during the National Day of Service and Remembrance on September 11 – you could try organizing a charity event, give away patriotic promo products, or just have a moment of silence.

Geeks, nerds, weirdos, and book worms unite! You have Wonderful Weirdos Day, Video Games Day, and Comic Book Day, all falling within Library Card Sign-Up Month. If your brand is hoping to appeal to these delightfully eclectic folks, you could try a nerdy promotional product. I think September 12th should be a national holiday. Because that’s all I want to do on that day.
My classes start on September 12, too…but I don’t think that will stop me from getting at least a few rounds of Halo in before the day is done!
