Heat Up Your Marketing Efforts with Summertime Promotional Products That Consumers Will Love

Guess what, readers—things are heating up, and I’m not talking about the weather; I’m referring to the untapped marketing potential for your company or small business. Quick reminder: it’s summer! In other words, it’s time for your business to launch a sizzling, summertime promotional campaign. From outdoor games to summertime necessities, start spreading the word about whatever it is that your business has to offer! Need a few quick recommendations? Take a look:

30-Can Roller Cooler

1. Custom Coolers and Koozies

Want to slap your logo on an item that outdoorsy-types will be sure to bring along on their next excursion? Of course you do! Here’s a quick heads up: coolers and koozies are no-brainers when it comes to summertime advertising. Spending time at an outdoor event, local park or camp ground can seriously take its toll on a person’s hydration, and while some people will bring their own coolers to events, others are usually happy to just tag along with whoever brings the cooler. Our advice: get those freeloaders their own coolers (maybe something like the Icy Bright Cooler Tote or the 30-Can Roller Cooler)—the kind that feature your distinct logo, front and center!

Same goes for the always-overlooked-but-often-underappreciated personalized koozie. Sure, we laugh at the semi-humorous taglines written on them when we see them in stores, but deep down, we know how useful they can be—especially outside, when the mid-afternoon heat starts to make our beverages less than refreshing. Affix your insignia on these remarkable little insulators and see to it that people know how practical your brand is.

Just pick a color!

2. Promotional Event Chairs

No outdoor festival or concert could possibly be complete (or even begin to start) without a venue full of fold-up chairs. See to it that your brand is making an appearance at the next big event. Add your name to the kind of custom chair that any Jimmy Buffett fan would be proud to bring along for the next Parrothead gathering. Hint: the Game Day Event Chair would do quite nicely. Then again, why stop at chairs? Take the next step; emblazon your logo on a full-blown recliner to ensure that those fans really feel like a bunch of “cheeseburgers in paradise!”

Get this guy a fold-up recliner, stat!

3. Custom Weather Gear

When it rains, it pours—and it’s never any fun when that’s the case. So make the adverse weather a little more tolerable for your prospective customers by providing a few umbrellas or ponchos during your next fundraiser or convention. Trust us—they’ll thank you for it. Heck, as a giveaway, it’s tough to top the Baseball with Hook Clip and Poncho, which combines the popularity of summertime sports with the usefulness of protective gear. People tend to forget how necessary something like a poncho really is, until they need it, of course; then they whine about not having one. Well, why not save them all that whining?

Everyone needs a poncho once in a while!

It’s the season to market your brand affordably and effectively, so get your business ready. There’s no shortage of summertime gear available at Quality Logo Products. Actually, there’s no shortage of any seasonal item; we’ve got it all, and always at the best value!

Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, needs at least two dozen of these.

If you aren’t rocking a couple dozen of these with your company logo, you just aren’t doing it right. Call Jay, he’ll hook you up. GREAT customer service I heard, BTW.

We also have some very handsome items that I would love to show off in the outdoors enjoyng my summer day! I know these are all beach oriented but still nothing says summer more than bringing these on fun day in the sun!

    Beautiful beach mat and bag:

That umbrella is awesome Sam! I wish we had more places to put it to use around here….although it could be equally as useful in the grass! It might be the perfect spot to relax with a book! =)

    • Joseph Giorgi

Good suggestions! It’s hard not to appreciate a beach ball, especially one with a flashy logo on it. Nice call on the beach mat too—I’ll keep that one in mind for future posts! :)

Nice variety! Koozies are crazy popular in the summertime and people grab them left and right at parties. The glow-in-the-dark Frisbee is one of my favorite cookout items because the fun doesn’t have to stop once the sun goes down! All you have to do is put it under a light for a few minutes and you can let the good times roll (You know me, I’m quite the rambunctious partygoer). Seriously though, those things are awesome.

Now, I have to ask: were you specifically searching for a Jimmy Buffett fan photo, or did it just work out that way? Curious minds need to know, Joe! ;)

    • Joseph Giorgi

I forgot which search term I used to locate that particular image, but it was one of the few decent images of a Jimmy Buffett fan I could find that were labeled for re-use. Luckily, the picture worked well as an example of a “promotional event chair.”

I love and totally agree with the items you have selected! Any company out there could easily use these to further expand their brand’s reach. Baseball hats and visors are always great giveaways at picnics or at sporting events, especially during the summer months when the sun literally beats down on you ;) Or since it still gets a little chilly at night when the sun goes down, customized fleece blankets make it more enjoyable to watch fireworks!

Jill’s curiosity peaked my interest, are you a closeted ‘parrot head’ Joe?? ;)

    • Joseph Giorgi

I actually have an extreme distaste for Jimmy Buffett’s music, and that’s putting it lightly. I can’t stand that guy’s nonsense. But that’s a blog for another day—a blog that will no doubt feature a large number of expletives.

*** No offense to any actual Parrotheads out there.

      • amy

Hahahaha, thanks for clarifying Joe ;)

  6. LK

I LOVE summertime. These are some great promotional products for summer, I especially like the reclining foldable chair, that thing is sweet! Too bad lately all we need around here are those ponchos…

    • Joseph Giorgi

I’m more of fall fan than a summer fan, but summertime is a close second—in my book, anyway. :)

  7. JPorretto

I couldn’t agree more with chairs. I’ve almost never been someplace where they weren’t short a few fold up chairs. You can’t have too many! Well, yes you can, but you know what I mean…

  8. Amanda

You picked some great products Joe! =) I really like the coolers and koozies! They are so perfect for barbeques and vacations–both things I love! I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t be excited to get one of these! And the fact that the cooler holds 30 cans and is on wheels–so smart–those big plastic ones are pretty hard to lug around sometimes.

    • Joseph Giorgi

I can’t stand those bulky plastic coolers either. I’d prefer something that’s easily moveable, which is why I like the cooler above: that pull-handle is too cool.

  9. Kyle

Those ponchos sure would be handy with all this nasty weather that’s been hitting us lately, but the rest of those items would be great for 4th of July which is right around the corner. I can’t wait!

  10. Mandy Kilinskis

I just took one of these with me on my walk: http://www.qualitylogoproducts.com/custom-jackets/ponch-o.htm

I was happy not to use it, but it was so nice and compact! I could hold it in my hand or clip it to my belt. Definitely recommend!

    • Joseph Giorgi

I’d imagine that those things come in handy fairly often! Definitely something to keep in the car or in a purse.

  11. Jana Quinn

I’m a big fan of promotional event chairs. They’re high retention, used frequently, and last SO long. I’ve been tailgating since I got into the Rush last year, and those chairs are lifesavers… or I should say – buttsavers!
