EBusiness has certainly revolutionized the way we buy logo products, sell products, use products, and even the way we live! As technology becomes more sophisticated, new words are constantly entering our vocabularies. For example, "Googling" is to the twenty-first-century as "faxing" was to the twentieth-century! We have to adapt and learn new terminology, or else we could be completely clueless.
The Internet has become a huge part of our lives, and as a result we feel an increased desire for privacy. "Spyware" refers to a trick (in the form of a phony pop-up message or alert) designed to get information from a computer. "Virus" is no longer a term reserved just for runny noses—it is a term used for malicious code that is capable of seriously messing up a computer. Because of problems like spyware and viruses, there are many Anti-virus programs available to help weed out issues caused by using the Internet.
Okay, so maybe everyone already knows eBusiness terminology like "virus", "Internet", and "spyware". But what about cutting-edge terms like "gigascale integration" (a way of incorporating millions of components on a small computer chip), a "DNS" (domain name system used when sending an email—it translates names into Internet addresses), or a "pseudo compiler" (something that generates a pseudo language to perform an intermediate task)? And those are only a few of them! As eBusiness grows, the list of terms will only continue to proliferate. It's important to stay aware of these new terms and products, even if you don't use them. If you want to promote your company as technology-savvy, consider customizing some logo computer accessories for your promotions!
