The Good: Boldly colored, large imprint area, versatile audience base.
The Bad: Not as sleek as all leather models, not a lot of space, sharp edges.
The Bottom Line: The personalized Executive Pad Holder is a good value for your money and certainly a competent product, but it lacks the quality and efficiency of some of our higher quality models.
Design (7.5/10): (top)
The customized Executive Pad Holder will get the job done, but like a boring date, it’s nothing to write home about. The three organizer sleeves on the inside cover are constructed with a flat seam, not allowing for anything thicker than a single credit card width to be stored there without misshaping the vinyl. The largest sleeve does have a bit more wiggle room, though. The lined paper on the right side of the personalized Executive Pad Holder provides great space for keeping notes and is easily replaced with a standard sized pad available at any office supply store. The vinyl edging makes the entire product look nice, but because it’s sealed at the very edges, it leaves a sharp edge. Obviously, you won’t be able to break skin without some real effort (and frankly, there are easier ways to kill your boss), but it could lead to an unexpected yelp if you try to take it out of a briefcase too quickly. The most attractive part of the Executive Pad Holder is the generous imprint area (6” x 9”) which has plenty of room for images and text.
Features (7.8/10): (top)
If you’re looking for bold colors, the personalized Executive Pad Holder has bold colors ready for you. The item comes in red, black, hunter green and royal with a one color / one location imprint. White and yellow show up the best on all four of these colors, but you’re welcome to pick just about any color of the rainbow (and as many as you want, though additional fees will apply) to customize your new product.
Price (8.6/10): (top)
The strongest point of the Executive Pad Holder is its price value. Each of these comes in for under ten dollars, and while the 100 minimum may seem high, it’s not like they’re going to go bad in storage. As a matter of fact, the Executive Pad Holder is a great example of an item that should be ordered in bulk and then parceled out at various events throughout the year.
Although this item is considered a high retention item, it serves a better promotional purpose than a practical one. If you want to distribute something to potential clients and investors to increase brand awareness, this product should be the way to go. While it does its job as an office organizer, it’s not the most stylish or practical item available, but it’s definitely got a great price tag.
