Personalized Golf Accessories Deliver Brand Impressions to Casual or Advanced Golfers

The weather is getting warmer and it’s time to think about my favorite recreational sport. I’m not going to be the next Tiger Woods of the pro golfing world, but I sure do love the game like he does.

As the weather improves, we will start to see more and more people out on the golf course. People LOVE to golf, so heading out to the course is another great way to get your name out there with promotional products. It is an especially important opportunity because so much business happens on the golf course. How often do you see businessmen out golfing and talking business instead of sitting in the office? Golfing with friends and new connections gives you a chance to promote your logo even more than you normally would! There are many different promotional products out there for even the most hardcore golf lovers.

Here are three QLP golf items that I REALLY love:

Large Golf Umbrella

Large Golf Umbrella

1) Large Golf Umbrella

Golf umbrellas are especially important for golfing in spring. Unfortunately, I have been out on the golf course many times without an umbrella when it started raining cats and dogs, and let me tell you, it is not fun. This large umbrella can be used to cover not only yourself but also the others you are golfing with; trust me, you’ll have plenty of room to share with friends. Over time, people will be so happy to see this umbrella (and the large logo on it) when it starts to pour on that spring day!

Scorecard Wallet

2) Scorecard Wallet

All golfers know that the damn scorecard is one of the biggest pains in the butt while playing. So here’s an idea to provide golfers with a personalized gift that they will GREATLY appreciate: throw your logo on this kit. Each attractive Scorecard Wallet can hold a scorecard and a pencil for easy tracking. Golfers will love it! This type of gift is perfect for everyone from the casual, occasional golfer to the advanced golfer.

Bulk Golf Tees

3) Bulk Tees

The last product I want to point out isn’t really anything out of the ordinary, but that doesn’t make it less of a necessity for the game of golf. I’m talking about customized golf tees, of course. You could buy promotional golf tees in bulk and have plenty of goods to hand out for the golf season. Golfers need tees, and lots of them! So put your logo on these tees just in time for your next golf outing – you won’t regret it.

Whether you play it or not, you have to admit that golf is a golden opportunity to network with other businesspeople. You can either head to the green empty-handed and go home without any new leads or take some killer promo items with you and market yourself effectively…it’s your choice!

How does everyone’s golf game look? What do you think about using golf as a way to promote your products or services?

Bubba is the Quality Logo Products mascot. He may have started out as "just a stress ball," but he's come a long way since the company's launch in 2003. Bubba has been immortalized in numerous vector artwork designs for internal and external promotions, and you can see him change outfits on the Quality Logo Products homepage whenever a holiday rolls around. Oh, and he thinks pants are for the birds. You can connect with Bubba on

Ah! The scorecard. A necessary evil. But what a pain. Where’d that damn pencil go?! OWW! Found it. That wallet may be a huge help.

Oh, and I need an accessory that can fix my random hooks off the tee. I’ve scared more than a few drivers on roads adjacent to the golf course.

  2. Vernon

Living in the midwest, whether you are a golfer or not, the Large Umbrella will get used quite often, only to have people sneak up behind you trying to share your large umbrella!!!!

  3. Scooby DOO!

I need one of the score counters… all my friends cheat!

    • Yowhatup!

      Mine too…. 🙁

  4. Bret Bonnet

    I suck at golf.

… There should be more logo products for miniature golf courses.

    Great post Joe.

It was a real “hole in one!”.

With that cheesy comment I shall return my bat cave (aka. my office).

  5. Joseph Giorgi

I’ll be honest: my golfing skills were pretty shabby last season. Maybe this summer I’ll iron out the kinks in my short game and step things up a bit. I suppose I’ll have to if I want to become the upstanding, well-to-do businessman I intend to be, networking with the leaders of the free world and making deals that reinforce the capitalist spirit our great nation is founded on—all while on the back nine.

Seriously though, you mention some great promo products here. I had no idea that there was even such a thing as a “Scorecard Wallet,” but it’s certainly a nifty concept if you ask me. Hardcore golf enthusiasts normally keep their scorecards for future reference, so providing a professional looking wallet for them is a win-win.

And umbrellas are definitely a “must-have” for anyone on the course. I too have been caught off guard by adverse weather and have had to make my way back to the clubhouse during a torrential downpour, and it’s not very pleasant.

Love going golfing, not the actual golfing part because I suck, but driving the golf cart and drinking beer is always a great time. Nice post Joey S.
