The Promotional Product Avengers: Empower Your Giveaways, Part 2

Welcome back, fellow nerds! Marvel fans felt left out after my Justice League post, so I made sure to scour the Quality Logo Products site for products suited to their comic allegiance.

Looking to claw your way through the competition? Put your logo on a Wolverine Metal Pen. It might not be made of adamantium, but these sturdy metal pens will make sure that your brand lives on forever. The best part?  They’re laser engraved so you can also imagine that Wolverine himself scratched your logo into the barrel.

Stabilize your brand!

Stabilize your brand!

While there are many cool functions to Iron Man’s suit, my personal favorite is the repulsor on his hands. So why not copy his cool with the Round LED Key Chain? There’s no better way to stabilize your brand and set your company on the right flight path. You can even get them in white and integrate them into your next Halloween costume.

If you’ve been stressed lately and you’ve warned your coworkers not to make you angry, then consider the Toss N’ Splat Amoeba Ball. Not only is the ball fun to play with, but you can Hulk-smash it on the ground in anger without the mess! It even comes in green to really get your Incredible Hulk on.

Make your message stick.

Make your message stick.

But I can understand if you want something a little more swinging. If you really want to catch clients in your web, pull a Spider-Man and attract them with the Sling Shot Sling Bag. No, it doesn’t come standard with web shooters (though you can tuck some silly string in the outside pocket), but it’s guaranteed to make your future customers cling to you!

For a fantastic promotion, I recommend the Scripto Flame Click Pen. A pen of this caliber is sure to heat up the competition faster than the Human Torch himself. Besides watching your competitors go up in smoke, any nerdy fan will be able to say, “Flame On!” as they click their pen and get to business.

A sure way to build brand loyalty is to inspire patriotism. Treating your prospective clients to USA Keytags is a move that would make Captain America proud. Not only are they shaped like the country we love, but they are made in the USA and come in over 29 colors! Now that’s the freedom of choice Steve Rogers fights for.

Nothing says nerdy like a marriage of magnetic Xs...

Nothing says nerdy like a marriage of magnetic Xs…

Now prepare yourselves. While searching through all of our 25,000 products, I found one that was not only completely and utterly nerdy, but also the most professional looking product of them all. That product is the X Ball.  First of all, nothing says nerdy like a marriage of magnetic Xs. Second of all, nobody ever questions the professionalism of desk art. So stretch your mind like Professor X, control metal like Magneto, and exude professionalism all at the same time.

So rest easy, Marvel fans: there are promotional products for your professional needs! Just remember: With great promotional items comes great power; with great power comes great responsibility.

Still hesitant to geek out your promotions? Are there other promotional products that can relate to the Avengers? Interested in promotional products for other non-comic fandoms?

  1. Vern-Matic

Great post Mandy!!! Love the Uncle Ben line, personally I would have went w/Ben Grimm The Thing and instead of “It’s Clobberin’ Time!!!!” “It’s Promotional Time!!!!”

    • Mandy Kilinskis

Thanks, Vern! That’s actually a fantastic tagline and I really wish that I had thought of it. Maybe we can work it into a QLP video one of these days…

  2. Joseph Giorgi

Nice list, Mandy! There’s some seriously memorable stuff here. I had no idea we had anything like the X Ball on our site. What an interesting desktop product — and such an ideal fit for an “X-Men” reference!

I actually DID have a Wolverine Pen at one point. It even had the QLP logo on it! How cool is that?! Unfortunately, I accidentally broke the clip off, which is a shame, since it was my go-to pen for a long time. Now I miss it. :'(

    • Mandy Kilinskis

All I did was search “X” on our site and that gem of a product came up. I would love to display something like that on my desk…even if I would play with it way too much…

I’m really bummed about your lack of a Wolverine Pen. That a serious tragedy. I hope that it brought you lots of happy memories before biting it. 🙁

      • Joseph Giorgi

It certainly did. I look back fondly on the notes I used to take with it. 🙂

  3. Bret B.

    Go Go Power Rangers!

  4. Jenna

Another creative post, Mandy! All of these are awesome nerdy choices! 🙂

  5. Ness

Nice job! Now that we have those two blogs, I can’t help but wonder — Justice League or Avengers?

My vote is for the Justice League…who’s with me?

    • Mandy Kilinskis

I like a lot of the Avengers heroes better than the JL ones, but the Justice League has way better heroines. I think I’d have to pick Justice League with you.

    • Jill Tooley

      DC FOREVER!!!

  6. Jill Tooley

    Excellent follow-up! 🙂

Iron Man is my favorite Marvel character, so I’m partial to the keychain you picked out. Nice choice! I can’t wait to see Robert Downey, Jr. reprise his role in the Avengers movie…it’s exciting that all of those actors are willing to come together for the film. Let’s hope it doesn’t bomb at the box office like recent superhero flicks seemed to!

I think the flaming droplet stress ball and the Zippo lighter would also be good choices for the Human Torch – what do you think?

    • Mandy Kilinskis

Considering how well Thor AND Captain America did/is doing in theaters this summer, AND considering that Joss Whedon is directing, I have every confidence that the Avengers movie is going to be phenomenal. Just the short trailer at the end of Captain America was enough to make me flail in delight. MAY 2012 IS TOO FAR AWAY.

Oooo, I definitely like both of those products. The stress ball looks like him in flight and the lighter would definitely make you feel like you could create fire like Johnny Storm. 🙂

      • Jill Tooley

Joss Whedon is the man! It’s going to be a long wait, that’s for sure. And with the Dark Knight Rises slated for July 2012, I have a feeling it’s going to be a summer to remember! 😀

        • Rachel

I agree, Jill; best summer ever! My birthday is also in May, so I always feel like these summer movies are special presents just for me 🙂

        • Mandy Kilinskis

And the Amazing Spider-man!!! (And Star Trek, hopefully, but their production keeps getting pushed back :/ )

          • Jill Tooley

Oh, I totally forgot about that one! Am I the only one who’s excited to see Andrew Garfield in the lead role? While part of me is a bit irritated that they’re rebooting the series already, I LOVE him and I think he’s going to be all sorts of awesome as Peter/Spidey. Plus, Denis Leary and Emma Stone couldn’t hurt, either! 🙂

I’m anxious for Star Trek, too! I didn’t think I’d enjoy the most recent movie but I ended up adoring it.

  7. JPorretto

I’m so proud of your level of nerdiness. I also love the “Swinging” pun. That is all.

  8. amy

Great post Mandy! The products you found are awesome and you did a great job compiling this list. It’s very extensive, I can’t think of anything you left out!!

    • Mandy Kilinskis

I would’ve liked to include a product for a Marvel heroine, but the most popular is probably the Invisible Girl…and that’s no good for brand impressions.

  9. Rachel

I think my favorites here are the smoosh stress ball (HULK SMOOSH!) and that amazing X ball. That thing would probably keep me occupied for hours at a time. I love your superhero-theme promo product posts, Mandy! Thanks for keeping us nerds up to speed on all the geeky promo stuff out there 🙂

    • Mandy Kilinskis

I love that smoosh ball. I hope that people take advantage of the closeout price and buy mass quantities of the sweet green color!

And I’m pretty sure that I’m going to get you an X ball for Christmas. 🙂

  10. Kyle

Awesome post, Mandy. I gotta agree with Joe here, that X Ball looks pretty sweet.

  11. Amanda

I know nothing about comics but……The Stretch N’ Bounce Smoosh Ball looks so awesome! I’m glad it made its way into our blog. =)
