15 Smartphone and Tablet Promo Products for the Connected Techie

According to research from Wireless Smartphone Strategies service, there are now over one billion smartphones in circulation throughout the entire world. In other words, one seventh of the entire population owns a smartphone.

When you add that to nearly 25% of adult Americans who own a tablet, the number of touch screen devices is massive. And with all of those touch screen devices out there, that gives you plenty of opportunities to connect with your current and prospective customers.

No gadget is complete until it has a couple of cool accessories. So why not hand your clients one of these awesome promo items complete with your logo?

Revolution iPad Case

Revolution iPad CaseThis case has so many features that you really can’t blame us for thinking so highly of it. It has a durable exterior and soft inner liner. The case features a strap closure for extra security. There’s along a pen loop for your favorite writing utensil and an included microfiber cloth so you never have to worry about scratches.

If an iPad isn’t your tablet of choice, opt for a Softsided Electronics Pouch that’s a great size for any kind of tablet. The Neoprene Tablet Case also puts your logo in front of your clients’ eyes, but is a little friendlier to your marketing budget. For your smartphones, the Elleven Small Tech Traps case attaches to backpacks and fits just about any size smartphone.

Swivel Stereo Speaker

swivel stereo speakerThe speakers on smartphones aren’t that terrible, but they’re nothing to write home about, either. So if you’re going to watch a video or listen to some music properly, you’re going to want to crank up the volume with this speaker. It lets you rest your smartphone on the stand and then swivel it horizontally so you have the optimum view.

If you’re looking to increase the volume on other touch screen devices that are a little too big for that stand, opt for the Pop-Up Speaker instead. This speaker plugs in to just about any electronic device to deliver louder tunes for up to two hours.

Leather Tablet Stand

leather tablet standWhile this stand also closes up to be a durable carrying case, it really shines when being used to display your tablet. Removable Velcro corners keep your tablet snug against the backing and adjusts to accommodate tablets of all sizes. When unfolded, you have three different angles to choose from to find the perfect viewing spot. Even better? It fits just about every single tablet on the market.

If you’re looking for a smaller stand to display your smartphone, then the Flip Mobile Phone Holder will be your new best friend. The bright colors will cheer up an office and draw attention to your logo.

EarbudsEar buds have this sneaky way of disappearing right when you need them most. And that’s why a pair of branded Earbuds will save the day! Customers can run through head phones quickly, so a backup pair will be greatly appreciated. And since the jack should fit most smartphones and tablets, you won’t even have to worry about getting separate items for different customers.

Metallic Curvaceous Ballpoint Stylus Pen

Metallic Curvaceous Ballpoint Stylus PenWith cool metallic colors and two functions in one, this personalized pen is a must-own for anyone with a touch screen device. As the weather gets colder, smartphone owners are going to grumble when they have to take off their gloves to check their email. With any kind of stylus pen, they can keep their hands warm while they navigate their devices. They’re also great if you need to draw or want to keep your tablets fingerprint-free.

If for some reason you want to keep your tablets and ink apart, then you can opt for the simple iStyle Touch Screen Stylus or the Tech Tip Stylus.

Microfiber Lens Cloth

microfiber lens clothStill, fingerprints are inevitable, no matter how many times you use a stylus. So that’s when your clients will need to bust out your logo microfiber cloth and wipe them off. They’re necessary for keeping your screen and camera in tip-top, clean shape. And with a full color imprint, you can say everything you need to without limitations.

Want to make sure your customers always have your brand nearby? Then you want to put your logo on a Mobile Lens Cleaner. Why? Because when you put something into a compact little keychain, it makes it about a million times cuter.  And if something is a million times cuter, people are going to want to use it more. That’s a totally true fact that I just made up but is still accurate.

Any of your clients with touch screen devices will be absolutely tickled pink to receive one of these items. And since they’ll be looking at your logo each and every time they use their device, you’ll be tickled pink by those brand impressions.

According to Apple… they shipped for iPads than ALL the leading laptop mfg. combined last quarter.

    … that’s insane! 🙂

    • Mandy Kilinskis

That is insane! But an excellent reason why you should be passing out branded iPad cases. 🙂

  2. Eric

Smartphone speakers definitely would be appreciated, that’s for darn sure. Tried showing Shelley the “Iron Man 3” trailer last night (ERMAHGERD TERNY STERK!!!) only to premiere it with disappointingly, slightly-above-a-murmur sound. With more and more people relying upon their smartphones for their media viewing, et al, it’s nothing but a smart idea. Neat post, Mandy. Being a fairly recent smartphone owner, it’s always nice to see what’s out there!

But you’re right, you definitely can’t go wrong with a speaker. The speaker on my iPhone is nothing to scoff at, but sometimes you just need a little more volume. 🙂

  3. Jana Quinn

These are great items for tech companies who already know many of their employees have tablets but want to provide something that taps into that geek side. Great finds!

    • Mandy Kilinskis

Too true! I can imagine that any tablet owner would be tickled pink if their employer handed them some branded tablet swag!

  4. Amy Swanson

I never knew how much I loved having a stylus until I got one. It’s great not getting frustrated when I can’t open up important apps (okay, Facebook and Instagram) and the fact they help keep my screen clean is an extra-big bonus 🙂

It’s really neat that the one you highlighted also has a pen attached to them as well. That would make them ideal for when you’re researching something on your tablet you can quickly flip it and write down the information (yeahhh, totally speaking from experience…)

    Awesome selection here, Mandy!

    • Mandy Kilinskis

I’m totally with you, Amy. I love the stylus pen that I picked up at ASI. It’s so nice to be able to check my email on my phone while I keep my gloves on. I just wish I had it back when I used to play Draw Something. It would’ve been a lot easier to draw things!

  5. Mikey

I have to admit, I don’t own a tablet, and I don’t think my phone’s a smartphone, (though it does have a touchscreen), but I can definitely appreciate a good pair of earbuds. Though, I suppose that’s true of just about anyone who listens to music electronically anymore. I do like the lens cleaning cloth, though, and I could definitely see myself using that. Otherwise, I’m not sure I’d get much use, personally, from most of these items. Heh, though I’d definitely love the opportunity to do so. A good article. It’s nice to see the range of items we have available for tablets and smartphones and what options for accessories are available. Thanks for the helpful list!

    • Mandy Kilinskis

Not a problem! And you make a good point: while a lot of your clients would be able to sue these items, not all of them own tablets or smartphones yet. So sticking to a microfiber cloth or a pair of earbuds would delight clients no matter what!

  6. Rachel

Sadly, I do not own a smartphone, but I DO have access to a Kindle Fire … and that tablet stand looks pretty cool! Also the stylus, which, judging by Amy’s comment, would be a pretty sweet tablet accessory as well. Great ideas, Mandy!

    • Mandy Kilinskis

Tablet stands are definitely great no matter what kind you have. Being able to prop the device up and watch a movie or surf the internet without glare and minimal movement? How nice!

I also couldn’t agree more with a stylus. And if you made it a stylus pen, well, that’s two reasons why people would carry it around! 🙂

  7. Ben

Try out the new iPhone 5 headphones. Fantastic quality. Lot’s better than the previous version.

    • Mandy Kilinskis

I have yet to try the new iPhone 5 headphones, but I totally believe you. Thanks for stopping by to leave a comment, Ben!

  8. Jeff Porretto

    This is my favorite! :

I hate having my phone in my pocket all day, but I also hate it buzzing on my desk. Bam! Problem solved.

    • Mandy Kilinskis

Bam! And I’m sure you’re not the only one with that preference, so I’m pretty sure that companies could win big with passing these out.

  9. Irene Phillps

Great blog!!! It was totally useful and surely I’ll take note on what this article said… Two thumbs up! Thanks for sharing!
