There’s nothing quite like a stress ball during life’s most tense moments. When your boss is driving you crazy or everyone’s going five miles per hour under the speed limit, this little toy can make all the difference between peace and rage.

Are you a crafty person? Do you want a fun project to do in your pajamas? Here’s how you can make DIY stress balls right at home!

  1. Stretch out your balloon. Blow it up and release the air for extra elasticity.
  2. Use the funnel to fill the neck of the balloon with the rice, flour, or beans. If it clogs, you can poke through with a pen or pencil.
  3. Remove the funnel and let out as much air as you can.
  4. Tie the neck of the balloon closed tightly. Snip off any excess rubber.
  5. Take two more balloons and snip off the necks.
  6. Position one balloon at a time over your stress ball. Tie the ends together and snip off the knot.
  7. Enjoy squishing your new stress ball!
