The Good: Adjustable strap, available in several colors, lots of pockets.
The Bad: Can be bulky carried around neck.
The Bottom Line: If you want security and practicality, the custom Vylon Badge Holder is a stylish middle ground to suit your needs.
Design (9.3/10): (top)
The stitching on the Vylon Badge Holder is surprisingly durable and neither a sharp yank nor sustained force rips out the front ID pocket or the back pockets. The braided cord can be adjusted for size around your neck, making it as comfortable as possible. However, the more stuff you put into the Vylon Badge Holder the heavier it gets and the more uncomfortable it is. The item measures 6 ¾” tall and 5” wide. Although it has many compartments and pouches, it still maintains a sleek look that minimizes on bulkiness.
Features (9/10): (top)
Available colors include Black, Blue, Silver, Translucent Blue, Translucent Red, and Translucent Smoke, so you should be able to match most logo/team/school colors. There is a transparent ID pocket in the front as well as a zippered pouch and a Velcro pouch accessible from the front. On the back, there is an additional slot that measures roughly 3” x 3” and two pen slots. While we most often get requests to imprint these for security at trade shows and other events, it also makes an excellent companion for travel agencies, cruise lines, airlines, and resorts.
Price (9/10): (top)
Although look-alikes can be purchased for similar prices, your custom imprint (run charge included in the price, set up additional) will be what sets it apart and adds security. With so many places to put important identification and documents, it replaces the need for a wallet, business card holder, or money clip. As long as the logo doesn’t include specific dates, your security personnel and regular staff members can continue to use the Vylon Badge Holder to subsequent events.
The customized Vylon Badge Holders will set actual officials apart from those who purchase look-alikes. It holds plenty of identification and other documents and pens. One notable drawback is that the minimum for this item is 170, which can be a little overwhelming for some companies. However, smaller orders are available with a less-than-minimum charge.
