We’re happy to welcome “Harry Potter” fan and self-proclaimed book nerd Kelsey Busche to the QLP team!
Kelsey is Sales Assistant to Sales Executive Stacy Gruca. She previously spent 10 years as a firefighter/EMT and emergency dispatcher, then another 10 years as a stay-at-home mom with her two children. Both important jobs, so we’re very excited to have her at QLP — and even more so if it means we score an invite to her magical Christmas celebrations.
What’s your favorite comfort food?
Any soup, or mashed potatoes.
Is there a weird food combination you enjoy?
I hate any of my food touching, but will absolutely mix mashed potatoes with apple sauce. Yep, I said it and meant it!
What’s your favorite movie?
My whole family are Potter Heads — Go Go Gryffindor! — so we love having movie marathons and watching all the movies in order.
What’s your favorite book?
I am a huge book nerd! But I don’t think I have an exact favorite one.
Which song have you had in your head recently?
“Beautiful Things” by Benson Boone : Both my kiddos know it word for word and request it daily!
How do you like to spend your free time?
My free time is spent with my family: my husband Andy and my two kiddos, Willa and Caleb.
What’s your dream Saturday?
My dream Saturday is sitting on a beach all day, drinking coffee and reading in peace and quiet.
Do you have any pets? What are their names and personalities?
We have two dogs. Monty is a Boxer and Pierce is a Chiweenie. Both are crazy, but awesome cuddle buddies. We also have a cat named Gryffindor. He is an orange tabby and acts more like a dog than a cat.
What’s your favorite season and how do you make the most of it?
My favorite season is Christmas. Cliché, I know, but I decorate like crazy and we do all the Christmas things: baking days with all the cousins and my Mom; the Christkindlmarket; ice skating; a hot chocolate bar at home; sledding; snowball fights; and we go to the Christmas lights downtown.
