If you know anything about Quality Logo Products®, then you know our company can easily be mistaken for Comic Con rather than a promotional products company. A good majority of the folks that round out our team love pop culture, video games, superheroes, and Star Wars. Bevan McCrory, the latest member of the Customer Service family, is no exception!
Meet Bevan – a dinner-loving trombone player who enjoys his peace and quiet. After spending a good amount of time working in food service and retail, and receiving his B.A. in History from Aurora University, Bevan is ready to make your ordering experience super smooth as our newest Customer Service Rep.
Learn a little bit more about Bevan:
Name: Bevan McCrory
Where did you go to college? Aurora University
What’s your professional experience?
I have spent waaaaay too much time in food service and retail for a college graduate.
What’s your favorite movie? Why?
My favorite movie is Star Wars Episode IV: The Empire Strikes Back, and by extension the rest of the saga. It pretty much sets the groundwork for the rest of my personality.
Do you think breakfast or dinner is a better meal?
Breakfast food is great, but to cook a great breakfast, I have to be up early. Dinner, on the other hand, I can plan in my head all day long while I work, and nothing is better after a long day at work than a great home-cooked meal and some drinks.
If you had three hours to do anything you wanted, what would you do?
My first thought was sleep, since you can never get enough sleep, but I actually think I would sit in a nice, cool, shady forest with a gentle stream and just relax…maybe with a nice cup of coffee.
Have you ever been out of the country?
I have only been out of the US once, and that was to compete in the “Calgary Stampede Showbands Live!” marching band competition. I played lead trombone, FYI.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
I am not much of a wild and crazy guy. I like me some peace and quiet.
Name three of the best bands of all time, in your opinion.
Of all time? Wowie. My favorite band is The Reel Big Fish, because I am stuck in middle school and “Ska defines who I am as a person and I will never turn my back on Ska!” I also take the controversial stance of Stones>Beatles, and I have never been unhappy when Rush pops up in my playlist.
Who would win in a fight – the Incredible Hulk or Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson? Explain.
While I love The Rock, the Hulk is by far the most overpowered comic book character since Superman, so I’m pretty sure the Hulk would handily turn The Rock into The Gravel.
Bevan may not be big and green, but he’s still as heroic as The Incredible Hulk. He will always go to great heights to ensure you get exactly what you need in your promotional products. It’s all in a day’s work!
