Microfiber cloths have that unoriginal name because they’re made up of microfibers: very fine synthetic fibers, usually made of polyester or nylon.
How fine, you may ask? One strand of microfiber is thinner than a strand of the finest silk. So fancy, and also, so soft. That’s why we use a plush version of it in blankets, but it also has some other properties that make it especially good in cleaning cloths.

1. Full color printing (CMYK)
Our screen-cleaning cloths are mostly printed in full color, which allows us to print detailed, multi-color designs, including photos. You can find out more about full color (aka CMYK) printing in this helpful blog post.
We do a full bleed print, which means the design reaches right to the very edge of the cloth, with no border. And we use sublimation, which is a way of chemically bonding the ink to the fabric fibers (rather than having the ink sit on top) for a more hard-wearing finish.
2. Screen printing
Screen printing is one of the oldest methods of printing, and it’s stuck around for a reason. You make a screen printing stencil, put it over your product, and scrape a thin layer of paint from top to bottom, which adheres to the cutout parts. Take your screen away and your stenciled image remains! Screen printed designs last a surprisingly long time, as we found out when we did a laundry test on some screen-printed t-shirts.
