Spotlight: Give Your Brand a Hand Winner July 2015: Julie Holloway

The words “small business owner” might not be the first thing you think of when you hear “artist.” But our July Give Your Brand a Hand winner is definitely both.

Julie Holloway is a Chicago-based artist and creative entrepreneur. In fact, she is currently running three ventures simultaneously. First, she sells her custom, one-of-a-kind prints on her online gallery and also helps businesses beautify their stores with creative window paint or indoor custom murals!

Her colorful, Chicago-inspired art can be found on her online store, but she was nice enough to share a few of her favorite pieces with us here!

Additionally, she’s the founder of JMH Cre8ive, a boutique graphic design agency that works with clients on email marketing, website development, brand development, and social media.

And in an effort to inspire other creatives to pursue their passions and turn their art into a purposeful career, she is also the curator of Entrepreneur Within, a book series that features contributions, stories, advice, and encouragement from eighteen entrepreneurs. Her online community shares blogs, plans community events, and organizes college tours, all to inspire entrepreneurship and turning artistic interests into viable business.

Since Julie makes her rounds at conferences, book signings, and art festivals, she wanted some special promotional products to share with her customers. When she won our Give Your Brand a Hand contest this last month, she chose custom Paint Brush Pens to inspire artists (and direct them to her web gallery). She also chose some fun personalized mugs for the early-rising, art-making, coffee-drinking entrepreneurs!

Julie was pretty excited to get her new branded stuff, and considering how great everything turned out, we’re not surprised! Here are some of her pictures of her promo products in action.
