Asked by Allie If doing a 1-color imprint, clear bottom, you should not have an issue if placed in a home dishwasher on the top rack, however, if you want do proceed with a color bottom or a multi-color imprint I would not recommend placing the items in the dishwasher because when being printed as a multi-color, it is a decal, which the imprint could come off and at that point I would recommend you go with a laser engrave and they won't have a problem with the print coming off in the dishwasher at all. In regard to the chipping overtime, these are promotional products and it is possible for any print to come off at some point unless laser engraved.
