I like the effect of the light when the cube is placed in water (or on any surface that completes the circuit between contacts on the bottom). I cannot speak to longevity of the light-up cubes as I have just received them. They will be taken to a show. Only complaint would be shipping. As they have to be removed from original packaging to be imprinted, then replaced, packaging is not entirely secure. There were several loose cubes. However, no items were damaged.
