In general, inflatables will deflate gradually based on wear and tear. The valve sealing the air inside is solid, but not impenetrable. Play, particularly if it is aggressive play (squeezing, slamming, bouncing, etc.), will cause the beach ball to deflate more rapidly. Too many circumstances and variables to get you an accurate timeframe. Fortunately if it deflates you can just blow into it again. Traditionally we would hand out hellium balloons but there was a hellium shortage so we decided to hand out beach balls, something that lasts longer than 12 hours and only needed air. We ordered 1,000 and we lightly blew them all up with 2 air compressor hoses. All but 50 were good. But Quality replaced the 50 and included a little extra which replaced the ones out of 50 that were not good. As the parade started we were tossing the balls in the air so they could see what we were giving away saying "who wants a big red ball?". Parade goers were swarming us to get a beach ball! The rest of the night we saw our red beach balls throughout the town! It was the most fun we had at this parade, a great success!
