While highlighters are great for making key words and passages stand out on a document, there are drawbacks. The ink in most highlighters will smear if it doesn't dry properly and will often bleed through so that it's visible on the other side of the page. On the other hand, a wax highlighter is specially made to avoid both smearing and bleed-through, while still providing a bright line. That's why wax highlighters are the superior choice when you're choosing a highlighter to customize with your brand message.
