What is a Pre-Production Proof?

Our digital proofs are a great way to get an idea of how your custom items will look! However, we know some customers would rather get a little more hands-on. Sometimes, a blank item sample without your logo imprint just isn't enough.

In that case, we've got exactly what you're looking for: a pre-production proof! A pre-production proof is a sample of an item that's actually printed with your custom design. As you can imagine, it takes time and money for our factories to set up their printing machines, so unlike our standard art proofs, pre-production proofs are not included free in your order.

A request for a pre-production proof must be submitted to your Quality Logo Products customer service representative in writing.

Pre-production proofs will incur an additional service charge of $100.00, not including the cost of the item or setup charges.

Pre-production proofs typically take one week to produce and may add up to two weeks to production.

As with a digital proof, you still will have to approve of your pre-production proof in writing before your order goes to production.

Pre-production proofs are NOT recommended for exact reorders, orders less than $1,000.00, rush orders, or jobs that must be delivered by a certain date/deadline.
